unsubscribing to censorship

She is not a prude

Nor is she rude

For the way she dresses

we all confess is

her attitude to the world she lives in

The stress

of it all coming down to her outfit of the day

not the things we say

When we say no

but the dress says yes

I cannot digress

We must not repress

These allegations

Leading to accusations

Of instigations through attire

I tire

of these stories

of worries

of fire in their eyes while we beg them please

Stop

Stop

Stop the blaming

Stop the shaming

Because before we came into this world we were all innocent and the same

Until we were given labels within which to frame

ourselves and others

But now we shame the mothers and blame the covers

we wear

As our expression

Fade to depression

in succession

It’s the definition of insanity

It’s uncanny

Like the Inquisition overwhelmed with interrogation

But never of this big corporation

Rather a fixation on placation of urbanity

Have we no humanity left in our systems

When we don’t kiss them

but instead dismiss them

Would you miss them?

Would you assist them?

When they say they resisted him?

When did women become the victims?
When the distance between a man and a woman was closed even after she said no and he wouldn’t go and the public

didn’t want to know
