The Book Nook

Do you walk past a W.H. Smith or Waterstones and suddenly find yourself at the till with a stack of 5 books? When you get back outside, do you crack one open and give yourself a faceful of that new-book smell? Have you purchased the periscope glasses yet? (You know the ones I'm talking about)

Well then, you're in good company!

Welcome to the Book Nook - a reader's favourite corner, be it a comfy armchair, a sunny bay window bench, or tucked into bed, or, in this case, an online space to discuss the thrills of recent literary adventures.

If your shelves look anything like mine - a solid mix of history, philosophy, fantasy, sci-fi, smut, self-help, autobiography, and everything in between - this is for you. Here, you will find your guide through some of the latest novels on BookTok, feminist non-fictions, and even some of the classics (if I can ever get my head around James Joyce). But take heed, this is not a one-way conversation! Feel free to drop comments if you feel passionately on the subject, and we can dive a little deeper into the themes of our favourites.

Let's get started.
